2. Description of Service

MyBaby.name is a baby name discovery platform that provides name search, AI-powered recommendations, partner collaboration tools, and related features. Some features require creating an account.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Scrape or extract data from the Service without permission
  • Upload malicious content or spam
  • Impersonate another person or entity

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create on the Service (name lists, preferences, family tree data, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the Service.

6. AI Features

The Service includes AI-powered features for name suggestions and recommendations. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or cultural sensitivity of AI-generated information. Always verify important information independently.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, name data, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by MyBaby.name. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Google (authentication), Supabase (data storage), and OpenAI (AI features). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyBaby.name shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which MyBaby.name operates.
